As an Android Developer at Luscii, you’ll play a key role in building our world-class healthcare platform. Your focus will be on both existing and new projects, while developing and recommending scalable apps and features. You will be working on the development itself and you will be responsible for the architecture too. Overall, you will be responsible for the development for both mobile and tablet purposes. But that’s not all, thanks to our holacracy-driven culture. You’ll have the opportunity to explore other roles, take initiative, and contribute to Luscii’s success in ways that align with your strengths. Here are just a few of the things you'll be responsible for, amongst others.
Develop and optimize Android applications in Kotlin, focusing on performance and user experience.
Contribute to the architecture and design of mobile applications and technical solutions.
Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts during early project stages.
Work on features and services that communicate with BLE devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure application stability.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidelines for consistent implementation.
Support colleagues across development, QA, and support teams.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in mobile development, e.g. Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform.

Salary: €4.300 – €5.900 gross per month (based on 32 hours – that’s full-time at Luscii).

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Android or Mobile developer
A bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience writing Unit and/or UI test for mobile apps
Experience with clean architecture principles in combination with software design patterns and more specifically MVVM or MVI
Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and in Android Design Guidelines
Extensive experience with Kotlin (incl. coroutines/flow)
Knowledge of and experience with Jetpack Compose
Demonstrated experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies
Expertise in app memory management, multithreading, networking and debugging & optimalization skillls
Familiarity with an Agile working environment
English is our primary language, so you're fluent in that language.
