Responsibilities

• Performs system development lifecycle activities to include analysis and requirements management, design, coding, testing and production support.
• Provides business process improvement support to include analyzing and evaluating current processes conduct and participate in strategic planning efforts to document “as-Is” data and process models describing business functions, interfaces, and data.
• Perform system design functions, develops specifications based on specific taskings, builds and documents data, and processes designs to satisfy software requirements. 
• Codes designs for implementation and executes in tools and languages designated by the client.
• Provide support for conversion and migration of data residing in legacy files and database schemas to the specified target architecture and/or schema.
• Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation and makes charts and graphs to record results.
• Supports to ensure interoperability, simplifying interfacing, maximizing integration and coordinating the implementation of required systems.

Minimum Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in the following technologies: Java/Java Scripting; HTML/XHTML; Oracle PL/SQL; Cascading Style Sheets
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presence

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Struts/Struts2
• Active DoD Clearance
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
