About This Role:
The Full Stack Developer III role will apply knowledge and development experience as part of an Agile Scrum delivery team. The developer will collaborate with Development Leads, Business Analysts (BA), Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers, Solutions Architect, System Engineers, and Database Administrators (DBA) to solve business problems by delivering and implementing IT solutions. The developer will work closely with the development team on the tool stack and solutioning on the contract. The position is a short-term position (up to 2 years).


Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with management, development teams, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
  • Work with development leads on implementation of solution designs.  
  • Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
  • Perform integration and functional testing on software enhancements.
  • Collaborate with QA and BA teams on ensure code is aligned to requirements.
  • Support and monitor commits and pull requests using Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
  • Collaborate with development leads on recommendations on improvements to existing software.
  • Support and create technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
  • Work within an Agile environment.

The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability work independently in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to create and provide detailed documentation of code changes and testing results.
  • Experience working in SQL Server, complex stored procedures, indexing strategies.
  • Experience in Azure and Azure Devops.
  • Experience with software security (DevSecOps)
  • Ability to execute code vulnerabilities remediation.
  • Experience in building software within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Familiar working with workflow management tools (i.e. Azure DevOps, Jira, etc)
Professional Certifications:
N/A
Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or related field
Years of Professional Experience:
5+ years of experience in Federal Government  
Required Technical/Business Tools Experience:
  • Expertise in the.Net Framework,.Net Core 6, C#, ASP.NET MVC.
  • Proficient in writing advance JavaScript. 
  • Experience with any database system (SQL, Oracle etc.).
  • Knowledge of CSS 3, HTML 5,
  • Proficient in RESTful Services/APIs, AJAX
  • Experience in Git-based source control systems
  • Familiar with KnockoutJS and Durandal.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Azure DevOps.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).

The “Nice-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of DHS Experience  
  • Direct experience supporting a FEMA program. 
  • Experience with software security (DevSecOps).
  • Familiar with Knockout JS.
  • Experience with JQuery.
  • Experience with Azure Function Apps.
  • Experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS etc). 
  • Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps.

  • Able to lift 35 lbs
