The Senior Application Support Developer is responsible for troubleshooting incoming support tickets, maintaining and developing software and tools to support the implementation project, and handling bug fixes and enhancements to the existing implementation. LaunchDarkly is looking for an Enterprise Developer Advocate to build a new motion from the ground up: education-first technical sessions inside our largest accounts. Most enterprise customers know LaunchDarkly for one thing. Inside those same companies are teams shipping AI features, running experiments, and managing risky releases who have never met us. You'll design and run sessions that teach those engineers something genuinely useful, build internal champions alongside our account teams, and surface expansion opportunities the field can act on. This starts as a pilot, and how it scales will be shaped by what you prove. It's a role for someone who wants to own a motion, not a queue.

Responsibilities:

\n- Build the motion: design the Enterprise Developer Advocacy program from pilot to repeatable practice, including session formats, account selection criteria, readouts, and measurement
\n- Run sessions inside target accounts: deliver education-first technical sessions (agents and AgentControl, safe rollouts, experimentation, runtime control) tailored to each account's stack and use cases
\n- Build champions with the field: partner with AEs, SEs, and CS to identify accounts, find and develop internal champions, and hand off what surfaces cleanly to the teams who should own it

Qualifications:

\n- Hands-on technical credibility: you build, demo, and teach, and senior engineers take you seriously
\n- Strong operational instincts: you can run a repeatable program, prioritize incoming demand, and keep commitments to the field

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PTC Windchill Developer to design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements on the Windchill PLM platform. In this role you will work closely with PLM functional consultants and engineering stakeholders to translate manufacturing and product-lifecycle requirements into well-engineered Windchill solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on Windchill Java customization experience with practical knowledge of Windchill data models, workflows, and integration patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PTC Windchill development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API.
- Solid experience with workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules.
- Working knowledge of Info*Engine and Windchill integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with JSP/HTML client customization.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model.
- Experience with Windchill upgrades and migrations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PTC Windchill certifications.
